K-Pop Girl Group Twice Performs ‘Cry for Me’ on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’

JYP Entertainment’s k-pop girl group TWICE made an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Tuesday, April 27 for a performance of their newest single “Cry For Me.” Clarkson gave a wonderful introduction to the girls and their well-rehearsed performance of the song. The performance showcased the nine members’ stunning vocals, dance moves, and coordinated outfits.

Clarkson gave an introduction to the group’s performance, calling them “k-pop superstars who have had hit after hit” and sharing that “people worldwide go crazy for their choreography and dancing.” The group lived up to the introduction with their well-choreographed performance from a secondary location, dressed in all white-and-black matching the all-white stage set-up. The performance video has been uploaded to The Kelly Clarkson Show’s official YouTube and it has already reached over 1.6 million views.

The single “Cry For Me,” is expected to be included on the group’s upcoming album, set to be released this summer, as Clarkson mentioned on the show. The song was released in December 2020 and includes both English and Korean lyrics. 

According to JYP Entertainment, the girl group has been preparing to make their comeback in June. “[TWICE] are preparing to make a comeback aimed for June. They are currently filming their music video on Jeju Island.” Fans are highly anticipating the group’s upcoming album as more information is released.
