BTS Releases Festa D-Day Calendar to Celebrate Upcoming 8th Anniversary

On Tuesday, May 4th, BTS released a teaser poster sharing their Festa d-day calendar to celebrate the band’s 8th anniversary. The teaser poster video clip was shared on the band’s official Twitter and Instagram pages and featured phrases in both Korean and English. Following the announcement, both ‘8 YEARS’ and ‘8th Anniversary’ trended on Twitter, with over 70,000 tweets using the phrases just minutes after the announcement.

BTS’s official debut was on June 12, 2013, with the release of their EP No More Dream, marking this upcoming June 12 as their 8th anniversary as a band. In celebration of this day, the group released a d-day calendar showcasing an animated building with speech bubbles that proclaimed, “It’s a Festa d-day calendar…I can’t wait… you can only open one each day!” After seeing this, ARMY’s are excited to see what the band is planning leading up to their big anniversary.

BTS Festa d-day calendar will be available for purchase, to be delivered starting on Monday, May 31. Pre-order starts on Thursday, May 6 for $63.44 USD. The package includes “doors” showing different dates up until June 13, and when opened will offer a total of 13 different gifts to fans. The gifts include fun surprises such as photo cards, frame photos, and exclusive digital content. 

BTS’s official Festa d-day calendar will be available for pre-order on May 6 on the Universal Music Store.
