The 35-year-old singer and actress, Lady Gaga, announced that her murder-for-hire drama, House of Gucci, has finished filming. She celebrated the film’s wrap-up with her crew on social media this past weekend.

Lady Gaga took to Instagram to announce the culmination of filming for House of Gucci, a drama based on Sara Gay Folden’s 2001 book, House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed. She is seen giving director Ridley Scott a socially distanced fist bump. The star captioned the photo, “That’s a wrap, Rid. #HouseofGucci.”

The film follows the 1995 murder-for-hire of Maurizio Gucci, the grandson of fashion brand founder Guccio Gucci. Adam Driver (Marriage Story) will play Maurizio and Lady Gaga will play Patrizia Reggiani, his ex-wife who was found guilty of orchestrating his murder. Also starring in the film are Jared Leto as Paolo Gucci, Al Pacino as Aldo Gucci, and Salma Hayek as Giuseppina.

The “Venus” singer shared her appreciation for her fans with a sentiment on Twitter.

Lady Gaga’s upcoming film comes after her dazzling performance as Ally in A Star is Born (2018), and her role as blood-thirsty Elizabeth in American Horror Story: Hotel (2015). She also recently won The 2021 Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Rain on Me” with Ariana Grande. Now, she leaves the movie set in Rome with emotional goodbyes to her Italian fans.
