“We could not be more excited to unveil the lineup for Summerfest and introduce a new festival format; more weekends and more headliners, promises to be a big hit among our fans,” Milwaukee World Festival President and CEO Don Smiley stated. “From first-timers, including Chance the Rapper, Miley Cyrus, and Run the Jewels, to Fest favorites including Dave Matthews Band, T-Pain, Styx, and Chris Stapleton, our lineup continues to be one of the most diverse and unique in the industry.”

For nearly 30 years, the best in music and fans alike have flocked to the shores of Lake Michigan located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Coming out of a pandemic and limited access to live entertainment, Summerfest’s lineup announcement brings the assurance that things are returning to normal.

Newcomers to the festival and already fan-favorites, Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers will be headlining individual weekend lineups. Cyrus is set to perform on September 16 alongside Summerfest regular Dave Matthews Band.

Meanwhile, the Jonas Brothers will reunite on stage on September 8 after a year of individual projects, raising families, and taking Hollywood by storm.

“Can’t wait to see your faces again!! Let’s get it!” The Jonas Brothers posted to Instagram.

Other artists set to perform throughout the month include Chance the Rapper, Chris Stapleton, Luke Bryan, Bleachers, Quin XCII, Jesse McCartney and more. While Justin Bieber was originally included in this year’s lineup, his performance will be postponed until June 2022 with the rest of his Justice Tour.

It’s been a long year, and while Youtube or Spotify provided a backdrop of tunes to get us through it, there is nothing better than indulging in live music. Summerfest will continue to announce acts and events throughout the next few months.

Summerfest general admissions tickets go on sale May 21.
