Beabadoobee Looks Forward to the ‘Last Day On Earth’ Tour
Singer of the famous “death bed” with Powfu, Beabadoobee posted a picture with the concert dates and locations across the UK for her upcoming tour, “Last Day On Earth”. It is great to hear that concerts and tours will begin running again, amidst a time where artists are struggling to communicate with their fans. The pandemic cursed the music world, canceling every concert at the time. Even though it’s been more than a year, performers are still hesitant to start selling tickets again.
Beabadoobee’s tour will begin in early September and end at the beginning of October. The tour poster listed four concerts that have completely sold out, and more are expected to be added to that list. Her concert locations are selling general admission tickets—which will most likely be an open space in front of the stage belonging to a standing audience. The current COVID-19 safety precautions will remain in place, so audiences will have to wear masks and maintain social distancing. Although vaccines are being distributed right now, these sorts of measures will continue to be enforced by the time the fall season rolls around.
Beabadoobee gained massive popularity after collaborating with Powfu on the song “death bed”, which spread like wildfire across social media and is very close to reaching one billion streams on Spotify. She has also attracted a very large following on these platforms, reaching one million on Instagram.
Some of her most-streamed songs are “Coffee” and “Tired”: the first was released as a single and the second is a part of her “Patched Up” album. The track “Tired” in particular caught the attention of several social media influencers on TikTok, and the tune became trending for some time. Beabadoobee’s release poster for the tour shares the same album cover as her most recent single “Last Day On Earth”. It has since been streamed over 2.3 million times on Spotify.

The young British-Phillino artist began recording and releasing music in 2017. Her first track, which was “Coffee”, became notoriously popular across Gen-Z audiences when the collage-type video was posted to YouTube. It was the basis for the re-creation of “death bed” but began as a soft acoustic ballad. The song touched listeners far and wide, some connecting the lyrics to their own lives and to those that they’ve lost. She has touched the hearts of many struggling teens trying to discover their way through the world with her very personal and realistic take on music.
Many of her songs have reached millions of views and streams on multiple platforms, which have contributed to landing her on Rolling Stone, Vogue, BBC Radio 1, Time Out, The New Yorker, and The Guardian. In addition, Beabadoobee has been nominated at the BRITs for their Rising Star Award and for the BBC Sound of 2020 Award.
Her debut studio album “Fake It Flowers” was released on October 16, 2020, and has a total of twelve songs. If you enjoy her music don’t forget to check out her older albums “Patched Up” and “Loveworm” which showcase her unique sound and songwriting abilities.
