Louis Tomlinson Announces New 2022 Tour Dates
On Tuesday, May 11, Louis Tomlinson took to social media to announce new tour dates after his 2021 world tour had to be pushed ahead to 2022. While the previous dates were pushed ahead, Tomlinson also announced that there is a new wave of dates that are labeled “extra date” and “new venue” on his tour posters. Throughout the month of May, tickets will go on sale for any upgraded or new tour dates. Previously the 29-year-old English singer was originally set to perform globally in 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic delayed the tour twice.

Tomlinson tweeted, “Let’s try this one last time!” He continued, “All shows on my world tour will be moving back to 2022 and I’m excited to announce the first wave of new dates.” The new wave of dates are set in the UK, Europe, North America, and Australia.

While Tomlinson was set to perform in Asia and South America in 2021, no clear updates have been announced indicating if those dates will also be pushed back to 2022. Fans from Asia and South America are hoping they will have a chance to see the One Direction singer next year.

Starting on May 14, fans of Tomlinson can purchase North American tickets at 10 a.m. local time, while fans in the UK and Europe can grab their tickets on the same date at 9 a.m. BST.
