NCT Dream Sweeps Music Charts With Their Debut Album, ‘Hot Sauce’
South Korean boy band NCT Dream released their debut album Hot Sauce on Monday, May 10, and it’s making its way up the charts quickly as fans stream the ten-track collection. This album release marks the band’s first-ever full-length album and is already creating new records for the band. Hot Sauce has already hit the iTunes Top Albums Charts, Hanteo Chart, and Genie, Bugs, and Flo streaming charts. The album was released at 6:00 pm KST on Monday alongside the colorful music video for the title track, “Hot Sauce.”
Following the debut album release, Hot Sauce has surpassed almost 2 million copies sold and has topped the iTunes charts. The iTunes Top Albums charts saw Hot Sauce at number one in 37 different countries: the United States, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Ecuador, Chile, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Australia, New Zealand, and more. Along with this, the album charted high on South Korean charts such as Hanteo Chart, and streaming charts like Genie, Flo, and Bugs.

China’s QQ Music certified the album as a “platinum album,” after the album hit recording sales of over one million yuan ($155,000 USD). Fans on Twitter are sharing their congratulations with the boys as they stream and purchase the album.
