Millie Bobby Brown And Henry Cavill To Return For ‘Enola Holmes’ Sequel
Six months after Netflix and Legendary Pictures released the Millie Bobby Brown film, Enola Holmes, to massive success, the streaming site confirmed the mystery film would get a sequel, Enola Holmes 2. Brown will return as the young Enola Holmes, the brilliant teenage sister of Sherlock Holmes.
Henry Cavill has signed on to reprise his role as the famous detective Sherlock Holmes. He joins director Harry Bradbeer and screenwriter Jack Thorne who are also coming back for the sequel. Netflix has yet to confirm if any of the other actors from the first film will return. The original cast included Helena Bonham Carter as the missing matriarch, Sam Claflin as eldest brother Mycroft Holmes, and newcomer Louis Partridge as Tewkesbury.
A new #enolaholmes film has just been announced. I liked the first one and I enjoy the books so am calling this one good news.

Brown will also serve as a producer on the film alongside Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Ali Mendes, and Paige Brown. Meanwhile, Joshua Grode and Michael Dreyer join Bradbeer and Thorne as executive producers. Netflix has yet to announce when production will begin or an official release date.
The film series is an adaptation of Nancy Springer’s six-book series, The Enola Holmes Mysteries, which received two separate nominations for an Edgar Award. Both the series and film feature Enola as a much-younger sister who ofter outsmarts her two older siblings. While the characters of Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes come from the world Sir Arthur Conan Doyle built, Enola is a creation of Springer’s mind.
