TXT welcomes a new era in the form of their upcoming album The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE. The group’s “Dream Chapter” series ended a little more than a year ago with their album The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY and since have released an intermediate EP titled minisode1: Blue Hour. Their previous concept congratulated the end of the summer season and helped shift the K-pop scene into more mellow tunes for the winter.

It is now nearing eight months since TXT’s last promotional period and their fans, MOA, have been anticipating the group’s comeback. Rumors began to spread around the time of ENHYPEN’s album and the date list for their upperclassmen BTS’s new music coming out at the end of May. Big Hit Labels shared a promotion schedule leading up to the album’s release on May 31.

Big Hit debuted TXT at the beginning of 2019 when their entertainment company had not yet formed HYBE Corporations, a collaboration between several other entertainment companies including Pledis, Source Music, CJ E&M, and Ithaca Holdings. The group was put under immense pressure for being BTS’s underclassmen, and the boys struggled a lot to fill in the expectations that were set for being the second group under Big Hit Entertainment.

For the last two years, the boys have reshaped the molds for what it means to be a star in the industry. Like many others in the fourth generation, TXT was designed to be an experimental group. The group introduced many new and innovative concepts, specifically in their tracks “Run Away” and “Blue Hour”. Once more, the group is expected to present something new to the table.

Their schedule has highlighted several dates for when their tracklist and teasers for the official music video will drop. May 4 marked the beginning of their promotions for the album with a hashtag event on the platforms Twitter and Weverse. Weverse is an app designed by HYBE Corporations and its affiliates as a space for fans and artists to interact. It currently hosts stars such as BTS, ENHYPEN, Seventeen, as well as some international singers like Gracie Abrams and Jeremy Zucker.

Their recent hashtag event (#HEART_OF_MOA) had MOA create different versions of the heart the group released as a part of their logo change. Each comeback, TXT’s logo changes. For example, in “minisode1” the group settled on a colorful, pixelated look. This time it appears the logo has stuck to a dark, neon theme. Nevertheless, it is a change in scenery for the boys that MOA is more than excited to support.

To participate in their upcoming social media activities or their album pre-order raffle, check out TXT’s Instagram, Twitter, and VLIVE. As of right now, the group has an open pre-order session where each album you purchase places one raffle ticket in your name for a chance to win a fan sign with the group following their album’s release. Be on the lookout for updates and don’t forget to support TXT on their socials.
