CultureCon Is Now a Virtual Haven for Black Creatives

CultureCon

A community of over 10,000 Black and Brown creatives has paved the way for upcoming artists around the globe. Influential A-list speakers such as Michael B. Jordan and Chloe x Halle has also hopped on board to help empower creatives of color in the midst of the ongoing pandemic.

First launched by Imani Ellis in 2016, the yearly CultureCon in-person conference will be held virtually in June 2021 from the comfort of your own home.

CultureCon

The virtual event will be a weeklong conference consisting of one-on-one chats, live Q-and-A mentorship hours, skill-building workshops, and featured panels. Attendees will have the opportunity to pick the brains of high-profile creatives such as Quinta Brunson, Regina Hall, Chloe x Halle, Michael B. Jordan, and Lucky Daye.

In addition, creatives will be indulging in discussions falling under an array of topics including Black Lives Matter, heritage, culture, social media strategy, building generational wealth, and more.

With social distancing still in full effect, Ellis’ goal was to create an event that still felt like people were engaging and networking. CultureCon At Home will also feature a virtual campus and Small Business Market bazaar for attendees to shop and support Black and Brown vendors.

The weeklong conference will be held from June 7, 2021 through June 13, 2021. For more information and to purchase your ticket, hurry and visit Eventbrite before they’re sold out.
