Twenty One Pilots hit superstardom when their fifth studio album, Blurryface was released into the world on May 17, 2015. The album generated hits such as “Stressed Out” and “Heathens,” which had been featured in the DC Comics superhero film Suicide Squad. By 2017, the duo picked up their very first Grammy win for Best Pop Duo/Performance for “Stressed Out.” Blurryface had received the Top Rock Album at the Billboard Music Awards. The critically-acclaimed album also received the iHeartRadio Music Award for Alternative Rock Album of the Year. The album fused many genres of music together, such as hip hop, rock, pop, reggae, and indie.

After accumulating so much success over the years, the duo is now back at it again with Scaled and Icy. The album consists of eleven tracks, where fans have debated which song is the best. Scaled and Icy begins with the track “Good Day,” which has left fans feeling all of the emotions. Joseph sings, “Today’s a good day, never know, never know.” Life can be very unpredictable, but the song encourages listeners to find the good in each day.

Scaled and Icy also has fusions of hip-hop threaded into the album. By the time listeners get to the standout “No Chances,” fans begin to obsess over the wordplay and beat that Joseph and Dun effortlessly created.

Fans of Twenty One Pilots stormed social media as the duo have done it again.

Scaled and Icy is available on all music platforms. Be sure to listen to the album on Spotify or Apple Music, as it promises to put one in a better mood.
