Little Mix, Galantis & David Guetta Collab for ‘Heartbreak Anthem’
Little Mix, Galantis, and David Guetta teamed up for a new single, “Heartbreak Anthem,” released on May 20. This dance/electronic track could be summer’s newest anthem.
This new track takes on a heavenly spin. In the video, members of Little Mix are displayed wearing angel wings and glittering outfits. The group sings about moving on from their exes and not holding grudges because sometimes relationships work out and sometimes they don’t. “Sometimes it works out but sometimes it don’t/Maybe we’ll fix this or maybe we won’t/Sometimes a heart can sink like a stone/Until you find a home,” the pre-chorus states.
Mixers fans got to see a glimpse of Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock’s baby bumps in the music video. The two women announced their pregnancies earlier this month, and the expectant mothers looked heavenly in their angel outfits.
“Heartbreak Anthem” is the newest single with Little Mix after “Confetti” featuring Saweetie was released April 30. Members of the girl group posted on Instagram a picture of themselves explaining that their favorite part of the new music video was “taking the wigs off.”
A teaser of the new music video was released on both Little Mix‘s and Galantis‘s official Instagram page. The electronic duo group announced that “Heartbreak Anthem” is #1 worldwide on iTunes and sends thanks to everyone for their love and support.
