On June 2, Lady Gaga announced that the “Chromatica Ball” tour will be postponed again, this time until 2022.

The tour dates that were first announced in March 2020 were scheduled between July 25 and August 27 and included six shows worldwide. Gaga had plans to perform in Paris, London, Toronto, Chicago, and East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The “Chromatica Ball” tour is scheduled to go hand in hand with Lady Gaga’s latest album, Chromatica. The album was released in May 2020 after facing delays due to the pandemic. Chromatica takes Gaga back to her earlier genres and has an electronic dance style. Fans were thrilled to get music in the style of original Lady Gaga and the album debuted No. 1 on the Billboard 200, but dropped quickly after.

Gaga is also set to release Born This Way: The Tenth Anniversary Edition, on June 18. The album, which originally dropped in 2011, will be released in honor of the LGBTQIA+ community during Pride month. The album will feature the original 14 songs, but this time with six alternate versions of songs reimagined by LGBTQIA+ artists and advocates. From the line-up of tracks, Big Freedia’s take on “Judas” will be released first.

Along with her upcoming musical endeavors, Lady Gaga is also starring in House of Gucci, a film set to be released in November 2021. She plays Patrizia Reggiani, wife of Maurizio Gucci (Adam Driver), the grandson of the house’s founder, Guccio Gucci. The film is based on the book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed.
