Shawn Mendes released his hit “Treat You Better” five years ago, and fans can not believe how fast time flew by. Despite the years, the song remains extremely popular with over two billion views on YouTube.
June 3 marks the fifth anniversary of “Treat You Better” by Shawn Mendes. The single is featured on the star’s second studio album Illuminate and permanently went viral when the music video was publicly released.

“Treat You Better” also peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, while achieving 1.3 billion Spotify streams throughout the years. After such an iconic moment in Mendes’ musical career, fans are shocked to see how quickly the anniversary rolled around.
