Tinashe Announces Release of New Single ‘Pasadena’

Singer-songwriter Tinashe announced her newest single, “Pasadena,” will stream at midnight on June 4. The new track is part of her upcoming album, “333.”

Tinashe broke the news on Twitter and wrote, “FIRST SINGLE! TONIGHT AT MIDNIGHT,” followed by a slew of pink heart emojis. She wore pink and purple tones on the cover with teal virtual reality glasses and sat against a cement wall.

The singer shared a teaser for “Pasadena” on June 1. She sat outside reading The Pasadena Post, which had the headline “Tinashe Teases New Music.” Her music played in the background.

The singer has also been teasing her new album, “333,” which will follow her 2019 album, “Songs For You.”

Tinashe rose to fame as a child actress in Call Me Claus (2001) and The Polar Express (2004). She was part of the girl group The Stunners until their breakup in 2011 when she became a solo rhythmic pop artist. The star was nominated for Best New Artist at the 2014 BET Awards and the Star Power Award at the 2015 African Women Awards. In 2018, she won Music Artist of the Year at the Zimbabwe Achievers Awards.

Fans on Twitter were ecstatic about Tinashe’s new music.
