Who Better to Take On BTS’ #ButterChallenge Than Legendary Usher?

The internet is going crazy, and there is a good reason why: Usher has given his take on TikTok’s #ButterChallenge. The fun fad is in regards to K-Pop superstars BTS’ newest single, “Butter.” With such a bop, it is no surprise the legend would hop on the trend.

The boys of BTS have repeatedly expressed their love for the famed Usher throughout the years. On June 2, the star demonstrated his support back. In a TikTok video, Usher dressed in an elegant suit and impressive fur coat, showing his power walk to BTS’ hit “Butter.”

The icon did not simply use a random verse from the song, but BTS member V’s (Kim Tae-hyung) line, which gives him a catchy shout-out. The snippet sings, “Don’t need no Usher to remember you got it bad.” The shout-out also includes a reference to Usher’s 2001 track “U Got It Bad.” Basically, this music moment was meant to be, having Usher’s name written all over it. As of now, the TikTok video has over 2 million views which only continues to grow. Fans did not hesitate to venture to all social media platforms to spread the exciting news.

The group released their first remix titled “Butter (Hotter Remix),” which achieved over 44 million views. Another “cooler” variation was dropped on June 3 PST to add to the sizzling craze.
