Amazon Prime Day Show to Feature Performances From Billie Eilish, H.E.R., & Kid Cudi
In celebration of Amazon’s annual Prime Day, Amazon Music has put together a three-part music night with performances from groundbreaking artists Billie Eilish, H.E.R., and Kid Cudi. The night of music and singing is extremely immersive and will even feature new music from Eilish and H.E.R.’s upcoming albums.
On June 3, Amazon announced the upcoming concert with the award-winning trio and set the musical night for June 17. It will be available to all customers for 30 days, with or without a prime membership. According to the press release from Amazon, “Prime Day Show viewers will be treated to three unique experiences that fuse performance and storytelling, transporting fans to worlds inspired by Paris, The Dunbar Hotel, and outer space. These iconic artists have not only broken new ground in music but are inspired storytellers, culture creators, and visionaries,” said Jennifer Salke, Head of Amazon Studios. “We’re thrilled to partner with Billie, H.E.R., and Cudi to bring these authentic and deeply personal specials to fans around the world as we celebrate Prime Day.”

Prime Day Show x Billie Eilish
Eilish is set to bring Parisian neighborhoods to life with “cinematic performances” as her performance will be set in the city known as the birthplace of cinema. This portion of the show was directed by Billie Eilish and Sam Wrench and will also feature music from her upcoming album Happier Than Ever. The idea for the set design and tribute came from Billie’s own admiration for the era. Alongside what should be an electric performance from the 19-year-old singer, fans can also purchase exclusive merch that will be available only on Amazon starting on the 17th. Eilish is a seven-time grammy-winning artist and has been one of the biggest stars of this new generation of music. She recently took home both Record of the Year for “everything i wanted” and Best Song Written for Visual Media for “No Time To Die” at the 63rd Grammy Awards.
Prime Day Show x H.E.R.
Performing in what was once known as the hub of Los Angeles black culture during the 1930s and ’40s, H.E.R. will give her performance from the Dunbar Hotel. The iconic location has been home to performances from music legends Duke Ellington, Lena Horne, and Billie Holiday, to name a few. In a time where embracing culture and background is even more important, this performance will be a culmination of H.E.R.’s idea if the hotel “existed in 2021 featuring new music from her album, Back Of My Mind.” In the span of only five years, H.E.R. has made quite a name for herself in the ever-evolving world of R&B. With thirteen Grammy nominations and four wins, the “Damage” singer will keep the momentum going with her latest single, “Come Through” from her upcoming album.
Prime Day x Kid Cudi
Embracing an outer space theme, Kid Cudi takes off with an “inner cosmic” performance, as Cudi will take viewers on a trip to the moon. Featuring music from his album Man on the Moon III, Cudi collaborates with the International Space Orchestra, the world’s first orchestra composed of space scientists from NASA Ames Research Center, the SETI Institute, and the International Space University. These musicians will be working as co-pilots for his intergalactic performance. Cudi’s performance and collaborators will help create an experience to defy sight, sound, and space. Selling over 22 million records across seven album releases, Kid Cudi has always been known for having an innovative lyrical approach to his music, thus making him one of the most influential artists of his time.
