Fans have anxiously waited for new music from Lorde since her last album Melodrama, which debuted in 2017. A tweet began circulating earlier this month that the singer would release two singles from her upcoming album sometime in June, stirring fans’ interests.
Lorde announced that she would be performing at Primavera Festival in Barcelona in 2022 earlier this year, which first sparked rumors of her grand return to music after a hiatus. Last year, Lorde also mentioned that she once again collaborated with Jack Antonoff, with who she previously worked on Melodrama.
looks like i’ll be listening to melodrama and pure heroine on infinite loop until lorde unleashes solar power.
