Warner Bros. Release Exciting Trailer for ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’
Warner Bros. has unveiled a second trailer to the highly-anticipated sports comedy Space Jam: A New Legacy. The trailer shows NBA star LeBron James alternating in both human and animated form, where he will have to face his toughest opponent yet: AI-G Rhythm (Don Cheadle).
Cheadle’s character kidnaps James’ son Dom (Cedric Joe). As with any loving father, James wants to save his son from Rhythm’s virtual reality, or what James calls “The Matrix hell.” Rhythm tells James that the only way he will get his son back is if they play a little basketball game. James looks rather confused by the remark but will do everything in his power to get his son back.

Shortly after that conversation, the trailer transitions to James in cartoon form, saying that he needs to build an elite team. His dream team consists of the beloved Looney Tunes. In a humorous scene to show how unprepared the team is, Daffy Duck tells Yosemite Sam to shoot the ball, and he does with two rifles.
As James feels hopeless, thinking he will never get his son back, he receives support from Lola Bunny (Zendaya). Lola puts her hand on James’ shoulder and reassures him by saying, “We’ll get your son back. I promise.”

As the Looney Tunes squad gets ready to assemble, The Goon Squad, their formidable foes, greet them. Tweedy Bird plays defense in one scene, saying, “I got her, I got her” only to be trampled. After the squad seems outnumbered and less skilled than the Goon Squad, the Tunes receive a pep talk from their voice of reason: Lola Bunny. She tells the squad, “Come on, guys. The Tune Squad doesn’t give up.” This motivating scene allows the squad to realize that they will not give up without a fight.
