Tyler, The Creator rose to prominence for his debut studio album, Goblin in 2011. Goblin chronicles Tyler’s discussions with his fictional therapist, Dr. TC, who appears on his 2009 mixtape, Bastard. Tyler’s success continued when he released his fourth studio album, Flower Boy in 2017. The album has an impressive list of artists, as Tyler collaborates with Rex Orange County, A$AP Rocky, Estelle, Frank Ocean, Steve Lacy, Kali Uchis, Jaden Smith, and Lil Wayne.

A year later in 2018, Tyler reimagined the Christmas classic: The Grinch. He released an expanded edition titled Music Inspired by Illumination & Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch. His rendition of “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” has Tyler proving himself to be a force in not only hip-hop music but also in the film soundtrack world.

In 2019, Tyler released his Grammy award-winning album, Igor. The album made history, as Tyler scored his first number one album on a record he self-produced and arranged all on his own. Igor took home “Best Rap Album” at the Grammys.
