Willow Smith Announces Her New Album ‘Lately I Feel Everything’ is Coming in July
Willow Smith announced she has a new album coming up on the punk rock music scene, titled Lately I Feel Everything, making this the fourth album for the young star. Fans are excited for new music following the April release of the “Transparent Soul” featuring Blink 182’s Travis Barker.

WILLOW posted short teaser clips along with snippets of what sounds like new music to Instagram on June 23. After releasing her last full album, The Anxiety, a collaboration with Tyler Cole, this new album will be her latest work since 2020. Fans shared their excitement across social media for the album, due to release July 16.

Perhaps the most exciting news regarding the album is the collaboration with iconic early 2000’s pop-punk rock sensation Avril Lavigne. In a recent interview and photoshoot with V Magazine, WILLOW stated, “I’m so excited that I’m going to be having a song on the album with Avril Lavigne. She is so iconic. From [ages] 13 to 16, she was my idol. It’s really nice to be able to have a quintessential pop-punk record with the pop-punk queen.”
Calling it an insular process, WILLOW also revealed, “I am going to be having a lot more features on this album. On my previous albums, I was in the studio by myself a lot. I wanted to open myself up a little bit more and not just be so anti-social in the studio.”
WILLOW is known for her early 2010 single “Whip My Hair.” However, she has now has evolved into a growing young artist and is slowly making her way into the pop-rock music scene. She accompanied her mother, Jada Pinkett Smith, and her nu-metal band, Wicked Wisdom, from the time she was three to seven years old. WILLOW has cultivated her taste in music from her mom and groups like My Chemical Romance and Paramore.

At only 20 years old, the singer has gained so much popularity for her style of music, and more recently, her newest song, “Transparent Soul.” With her current track record for a unique sound and exciting features, Lately I Feel Everything should be another summer release full of great songs.
