Making her way through pride month in true high fashion, Hayley Kiyoko was featured as the cover star for the latest issue of LADYGUNN magazine. Looking absolutely stunning in the photos shared across social media, Kiyoko also talked to LADYGUNN about new music and dealing with the challenges of coming into her sexuality.

Gracing the cover as a part of their pride month issues, Kiyoko and LADYGUNN shared bright and colorful pictures of the singer. Making the news official on June 22, Kiyoko was featured wearing a fluffy bright green sweater jacket and dress to match, psychedelic boots, and a few other bold fashion pieces. Switching gears in other photos, she is seen wearing a striped pantsuit and sporting a cute hat and gloves in a few other pictures. The photoshoot looked vibrant and fun and definitely embodied the spirit of pride month.

Opening up about music and her own pride journey, Kiyoko said in a statement to LADYGUNN, “I’m Just Grateful To Be Able To Celebrate Myself, The Love That I Have For Myself, And The Love That My Community Is Creating.” Recently releasing a new song and music video, “Chance,” Kiyoko has officially started a new era of music and is continuing to contribute to the queer music scene. For a while, Kiyoko could not feel completely comfortable in her sexuality but now can share her true self with her devoted fanbase. Talking about another recent song, “Found My Friends,” she shared that “You can see my journey just rediscovering love for myself, rediscovering my confidence, [and] being able to own isolation.” Sharing her own experiences, Kiyoko has developed so much over the years, and the confidence truly shines in these cover shoot pictures.

Hayley Kiyoko has been gaining popularity since her “Girls Like Girls” music video caught the attention of many across social media, garnering millions of views and a ton of support. Many Disney fans may remember Kiyoko from her role as Stella in the Disney Channel movie Lemonade Mouth. Now deemed the “Lesbian Jesus” by her fanbase, the singer has continued to catch the attention of the LGBTQIA+ community. Performing last year for San Francisco’s Pride’s 50th anniversary and releasing her latest EP titled, I’m Too Sensitive For This Sh*t, back in January of 2020, the singer has continued to flourish and come into her sense of self and own her music’s messages.
