Zendaya Looks Stunning In Beyoncé Inspired Dress at BET Awards
Channeling her inner Sasha Fierce, Emmy award-winning actress Zendaya paid homage to Beyoncé’s early fashion choices with her red carpet look for the 2021 BET Awards. Posing in a beautiful purple dress, Zendaya truly rocked the red carpet in pure 2003 fashion.
Originally wearing a short purple dress in 2003, Zendaya took Beyoncé’s look and rocked it full length. Getting herself a “stylist with an ARCHIVE,” as said by her stylist Law Roach via social media, the superstar rocked a Versace SS2003 dress and did so beautifully. Posting various photos across social media, fans, and friends of the star were in awe by Zendaya’s homage to Queen Bey. Euphoria costar, Storm Reid expressed her excitement, saying, ” Lord have mercy” under one post and another, asking Zendaya, “I wonder what it’s like to be God’s favorite.”
Law, her stylist, shared all of the details of Zendaya’s iconic look via Instagram, sharing all the in’s and out’s of putting this look together. The star’s full outfit includes the beautiful purple Stuart Weitzman heels and yellow diamonds from Bulgari. Her long sleek ponytail done by Kim Kimble and the stunning photos of the star were taken by ABDMstudio, comprised of photographers Ahmad Barber and Donte Maurice. “Crazy in Love” perfectly describes how everyone felt seeing these pictures and Beyoncé’s first solo song performed at the 2003 BET awards.
After rocking the same look on the red carpet all those years ago, Beyoncé still serves as an inspiration in fashion and music. She constantly sets the tone for so much after becoming one of the most iconic artists since the early 2000s.

Zendaya is also making quite the name for herself, currently starring in the HBO show Euphoria, which she won an Emmy for, and was recently announced as the voice of Lola Bunny in the upcoming film Space Jam: A New Legacy. Zendaya is constantly doing new things and is slowly becoming one of the 21st century’s newest icons.
Rewatch Queen Bey’s “Crazy in Love” performance and watch for the iconic purple dress.
