A Complete List of 2021 BET Awards Winners
The BET Awards celebrate the accomplishments of black artists in television, film, music, and sports. So here is a complete list of the winners and nominees for this year’s ceremony.
The BET Awards took place Sunday night, June 27, in Los Angeles. The 21st ceremony happened in person, after last year being affected by COVID-19. The host was Taraji P. Henson, with this year’s theme “Year of the Black Woman.” Furthermore, many notable artists gave memorable performances on stage.

With a great list of nominees, the BET Awards had deserving winners. Megan Thee Stallion took home four awards, including Best Female Hip-Hop Artist. Chadwick Boseman, who passed away in August last year, won the award for Best Actor. Throughout the night, artists paid tributes to notable musicians. Busta Rhymes, Method Man and Swizz Beatz took the stage to pay tribute to rapper DMX, who passed away in April. They performed some of his most famous songs, including some from his posthumous album Exodus.
