Coming off promotion for her solo release “On The Ground,” BLACKPINK’s Rosé released a cover of “Slow Dancing In A Burning Room” by John Mayer. Soothing our BLINKS ears with her gorgeous vocals, the surprise cover was a nice treat for fans of the group and Rosé.

Performing alongside a guitarist and AKMU’s Lee Suhyun Rosé did quite well performing in a different setting. Guest-starring on the new Korean variety show Sea of Hope, Rosé delivered fantastic live vocals in her cover of “Slow Dancing In A Burning Room.” While BLACKPINK is known for great dance skills and energetic beat drops, Rosé remained seated and allowed the music to guide her more than her feet. Known for her light and airy sound, the singer, certainly picked a song that helped her voice shine.

Sea of Hope is described as a “healing program” and invites celebrities to perform seaside and even practice a little homemade cooking. The show’s regular cast list includes SHINee’s Onew, Lee Dong-Wook, Kim Go-Eun, AKMU’s Lee Suhyun, Yoon Jong-shin, and Lee Ji-ah. The show is designed to help idols relax from their busy schedules and everyday lives and relax by the seaside. Rosé is now the first person to guest star on the variety show, and fans could not be more pleased by this first episode.

When not guest-starring on Korean variety shows, Rosé can be found on Instagram posing as she a brand ambassador for Yves Saint Laurent and recently was featured on the cover of Vogue Korea. Regarding BLACKPINK, the girls are gearing up for the release of BLACKPINK: The Movie in August and releasing a Japanese version of their first full album, The Album. These new releases are all a part of a “4+1 Project” honoring their 5th anniversary as a group.
