The Stray Kids quartet recently released a new track called “Up All Night” to surprise their fandom, Stay, after winning first place in the Mnet competition show Kingdom. Stray Kids and other groups like The Boyz are expected to release their music by the end of the year. Kingdom took months out of their schedules, but now they can go back to writing music and promotions as usual.

Surprisingly, four members of The Stray Kids, Bang Chan, Felix, Changmin, and Seungmin, found the time to record and shoot a music video during those busy months. The track is called “오늘 밤 나는 불을 켜” which translates to “Tonight I Turn On The Lights” in English but is officially titled “Up All Night.” Its lyrics were written and composed by the Stray Kids leader Bang Chan and rapper Changbin.

“오늘 밤 나는 불을 켜” is a fun rap-influenced track, a genre that the group excels at. The song is the perfect example of Stray Kid’s style, almost entirely versed with a heavy beat and unique add-ons. They have mastered this form of art and are one of the only K-pop groups currently who constantly release hip-hop song after hip-hop song.

They released the new track on their YouTube channel SKZ-PLAYER where the group releases unofficial albums or songs. Their other channel SKZ-RECORD also releases original music in full-audio format. The video is well on its way to reaching four million views. Even though the track is not a part of a true comeback, it still did surprisingly well as it is not on any streaming platforms.

In the music video, the four dress in vampire-themed costumes and makeup. It has with exceptional set design and thorough camera angles that fulfill the eerie concept. Still, the boys have fun and relax with one another. Their chemistry is undeniable and gives the dark mood an airy, carefree lightness.

Stray Kids is an eight-member boy group formed from a 2017 survival show hosted by JYP Entertainment with the same name. The group consists of Bang Chan, Felix, Han, Lee Know, I.N, Seungmin, Changbin, and Hyunjin. They are trendsetters in the K-pop industry and have released countless hits that have done well both domestically and internationally. Stray Kid’s company JYP is in charge of other major K-pop groups, including Twice and ITZY. In the past, JYP also had K-pop pioneers Wonder Girls and Miss A and the former third generation boy group Got7.

As of right now, Stray Kids are in the works of a new comeback. To keep up with the group’s activity and album notices, follow their Instagram, Twitter, and VLIVE accounts.
