The music world is thrilled after The Kid LAROi and Justin Bieber made an unexpected announcement—a new collaboration track, “Stay,” is on the way. After teasing fans all week, LAROi confirmed the release date to be next week, July 9.

On June 30, The Kid LAROi first revealed his plans to drop “Stay,” a collaboration with Bieber, with a simple black and white tweet. His caption included the hashtag #StayIsComing. With such sudden news, fans quickly rushed to social media to theorize and share the fun excitement. However, the limited information left everyone brimming with curiosity. What should we expect from Australian sensation The Kid LAROi?

Fans didn’t have to wait long. On July 1, LAROi shared another post on Instagram. The artist is seen rocking some cool shades and trendy kicks, holding up a small sign that teases a July 9 premiere date. Immediately, the comment section blew up with supportive messages. Scooter Braun, career manager of both Bieber and LAROi, dropped some fire emojis and even famed singer-songwriter Charlie Puth showed enthusiasm typing out a long “yessssssssss.”

Later, LAROi posted another picture that confirmed the single’s release date and pre-save link. Although time continues to tick until July 9, fans are more than ready to support “Stay” and the two artists.

It is not the first time Justin Bieber and The Kid LAROi have worked together. Back in March, Bieber featured LAROi in his song “Unstable.” The slow track acts as a reflective piece within Bieber’s latest album Justice, the lyrics singing with endearment: “I tried to scare you, scare you away / Showed you the door, you adored me anyway / When I was broken in pieces, you were my peace of mind / You were my peace of mind.” The music video currently has 480,000 views and only continues to grow.

After a successful collaboration with “Unstable,” fans can not wait to see what “Stay” has in store. Until more possible teasers or information are released, be sure to check out Bieber and LAROi’s previous hit above.
