JYP girl-group TWICE releases a girl-power anthem with the Japanese single “Perfect World.” The single is a preview to the album of the same name, which is set to release on July 28.

Perfect World will be the third generation group’s third Japanese album, with previous ones including iconic singles such as “Breakthrough” and “Fake and True.”

The music video for “Perfect World” tells the story of the girls of TWICE being highly valued performers in a masquerade club of sorts. The club-goers proceed to fawn over the members as chaos ensues around them. They are oblivious to the stage falling apart; their main goal is to get the group’s attention (and with those stellar visuals, fans don’t blame them).

The Japanese comeback comes shortly after their recent Korean EP Taste of Love containing the summery bubblegum single “Alcohol-Free.”

Perfect World will also be the second comeback after the return of the second eldest member Yoo Jeongyeon. The vocalist sustained a neck injury right before the promotional stages for Eyes Wide Open, rendering her incapable of performing alongside the group for the time being.

Continuing to break records this far along in their career, the music video for “Perfect World” garnered over 5.6 million views on YouTube, a new high for the group’s Japanese releases.

The K-pop group is also set to drop their first full English single this September. While they have released English versions of popular tracks such as “More and More” and “I Can’t Stop Me,” this will be the first track originally in English.
