Release Date For New Movie, ‘After We Fell’ Announced
The third movie from the After series has officially announced its release date. After We Fell is set to premiere in Italy on September 1, 2021, the release date in different countries will be throughout September, with it premiering in October for the United States.
Based on the books by Anna Todd, the third movie picks up where the second movie, After We Collided, left off. Tessa Young (Josephine Langford) is thrown a curveball when dark secrets about her boyfriend, Hardin Scott’s (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) family are revealed. This causes damage to Tess and Hardin’s relationship, putting it in jeopardy. Now Tessa needs to make an important decision that will ultimately affect the future of their relationship. Director Castille Landon sat down with Teen Vogue earlier this week about Tessa and the third movie.

“For me what was really important is getting Tessa’s experience right, from the perspective of a young woman. I’m not too far removed from that kind of world myself, and I really related to her. Being able to convey that cinematically was important to me, in a way that didn’t feel gratuitous but also felt very very real-world and not glossing over the messiness of what it is to be a young woman in love with — for lack of a better term — a bad boy.”
With the third movie slowly approaching, this won’t be the end of Tessa and Hardin’s story. Two more movies are currently in the works. In the meantime, fans can watch the first two movies (After and After We Collided) on Netflix!
