The music video for “Rae Street” starts with a hand drawing the title in wet cement, cutting to the artist sitting on the floor, guitar in hand, playing the tune. The other characters throughout the video are also Barnett, but fans are still unsure of the symbolism behind that cinematic choice.

Barnett’s single is an observation, the pandemic having her view the more mundane parts of life with further introspection as it was all falling apart.

Barnett wrote Things Take Time, Take Time in two years in major cities in her home country of Australia.

On June 25, the Australian singer announced the final tour dates for her North America tour with various openers, including Shamir, Julia Jacklin, Warpaint, Bartees Strange, and Bedouine.

Barnett has a history of designing her own album covers, and this LP is no different.

Out on a street corner, she laid out some tarp and prepared a white wall for her monochromatic color palette. Each dot is labeled with a word from the album title, a spectacle of an advertisement for the singer.
