Harry Styles Finalizes Tour Rescheduling After Outcry From Fans
Harry Styles has officially pushed back his US tour for the originally scheduled 2020 shows, Harry Styles: LOVE ON TOUR. This rescheduling includes the cancellation of the opening shows in Canada, with no updates in sight regarding the UK leg of concerts.
As the start of the first set of postponed dates drew near, fans of the former One Direction member began expressing their frustration for the singer’s lack of transparency and the late timing of the decision.

Styles has been spotted on a yacht with Don’t Worry Darling costar, Olivia Wilde, in Italy, much to his fans’ frustration. Not out of jealousy, but from the apparent disregard for concertgoers that plan to travel to be in a show’s attendance.
Fans were initially made aware of the news through an email from Ticketmaster, and that brought forth another wave of criticism toward the artist and his team’s lack of professionalism toward the matter.
It’s okay to be a Harry fan while also holding him/his team accountable for not making a tour announcement when it starts in a month. We shouldn’t be finding out that dates are being rescheduled through emails from Ticketmaster, but rather the source itself ☺️ pic.twitter.com/b2xqLykoqZ

Hours later, Styles issued an official statement on his main social platforms expressing his excitement to be on stage once more.
“LOVE ON TOUR will be going out across the USA this September and I could not be more excited for these shows. I love you all so much… and I can’t wait to see you. H”
Overall, fans positively affected by the change offered an outpour of relief on Twitter. Despite the wave of concert cancellations due to COVID-19, tweets of gratitude spread as their opportunity to see the pop star in his element remains intact.

The Wednesday announcement altered Love on Tour’s opening show, originally set to be August 14 in Tacoma, Washington, now set for September 4 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
The show will now close with three consecutive dates at The Forum in Los Angeles on November 17, 19, and 20.
