Beats by Dre has dropped a new advertisement featuring star sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson for Kanye West’s new forthcoming album Donda. The new album Donda named after his late mother will be released this Friday, and fans are ecstatic.

Sha’Carri Richardson may have been hindered from participating in this year’s Tokyo Olympics, but she is still too fast to be stopped.

Despite her recent suspension that triggered controversy across the country, it appears Richardson continues to sprint past obstacles with flashing colors. The 21-year-old star recently starred in a new Beats By Dre campaign that debuted during Tuesday’s NBA finals.

As the ad unfolds, “No Child Left Behind” plays in the background as Richardson is seen warming up for a run sporting black and beige track gear, her trademark colorful long nails, and flowing burgundy hair. The tagline “Live Your Truth” appears just before a brief announcement about a listening event for Donda, which will be available on Apple Music’s live stream one day before the album’s release date.

After testing positive for THC, the chemical often found in marijuana, Richardson was suspended at the U.S. Olympic Track and Field trials in Oregon. Considering the unfortunate events, the Beats By Dre campaign may be a great business move since it can set a great example to the younger audiences that teach them that they can overcome any obstacle.

Kanye West’s new album Donda will be officially released Friday, July 23, 2021. The highly anticipated listening event will live-stream on Apple Music this Thursday at 8 pm ET.
