Billie Eilish Will Debut New Concert Film ‘Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles’ on Disney+
Billie Eilish premieres her new cinematic concert experience on Disney+ in September, and it is called Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles. The film is in honor of her anticipated album Happier than Ever.
Billie Eilish is debuting her new film Happier than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles on Disney+. Besides, the film’s name comes after her forthcoming album Happier than Ever, which releases on July 30. Additionally, it is a tribute to her hometown, L.A. As explained in the announcement, “the special will also include animated elements, taking viewers on a dreamlike journey through Billie’s hometown of Los Angeles and its most iconic backdrops.”

The stage is at the fabulous Hollywood Bowl. Also, with a unique performance with the songs from the album in sequential order for the first time. In addition, Robert Rodriguez is the director, alongside co-director Patrick Osborne. And they were accompanied by the L.A. Philharmonic, conducted by Gustavo Dudamel.

Also, the concert movie has a great list of guest appearances. Like, her brother FINNEAS, who produced the concert’s album Happier than Ever. Moreover, other guests appearing are the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus, the Los Angeles Philharmonic conducted by Music & Artistic Director Gustavo Dudamel, Brazilian guitarist Romero Lubambo, and orchestra arrangements by David Campbell.

Furthermore, Interscope Films and Darkroom Productions, in association with Nexus Studios and ALPWW, produced the film. More crew members are Kerry Asmussen, the Live Concert Director, and Pablo Berron as the Director of Photography.

“Disney is incredibly iconic, so to collaborate on something like this is a huge honor,” Billie Eilish shared in a press release. “To be able to present my album in this way and dedicate it to the city that I love and grew up in is so exciting to me. I hope you love it.”
