Epic Games confirmed that Ariana Grande will be performing a virtual concert for Fortnite’s virtual Rift Tour. The “Positions” singer, 28, will kickstart the tour on August 6, which will run for two days.

“Working with Epic and the Fortnite team to bring my music to life inside the game has been so fun and such an honor. I can’t wait to join my fans and see all of your reactions to such an unforgettable, magical journey to new realities,” Grande described the collaboration.

The show will run over a course of three days and have five shows to accommodate fans from different time zones. Epic Games recommends fans show up an hour before the show. The Rift Tour will kick off thirty minutes before showtime. Epic Games explained what the concert will entail.

“Building on and incorporating other celebrated Fortnite moments, the Rift Tour will begin with experiences that pair popular tracks with moments based on elements from the game. Players will be able to travel side by side with their friends on a journey to magical new realities where Fortnite and Ariana collide.”

Those who attend the concert will receive a Cuddly Cloudcruiser umbrella. In addition, an Ariana Grande skin and Piggy Smallz Back Bling will be available on August 4. Grande isn’t the first celebrity skin to appear in Fortnite. LeBron James and Tyler “Ninja” Blevins are some to name a few.

Moreover, there have been musicians who performed at the Rift Tour. Marshmello performed in 2019 which more than 12 million people attended. Travis Scott performed in 2020 and a Lady Gaga event was supposed to happen but didn’t. Tune in for Ariana’s performance and the Rift Tour on August 6.
