Per EW, Madison Square Garden in New York City will hold a celeb-studded comedy show the day after the 20th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers.

27-year old comedian, Pete Davidson’s father, passed away in the 9/11 tragedy, and comedian Jon Stewart has been a long-term advocate for the wellbeing of survivors and first responders who are still struggling years later.

The line-up for the event includes comedians such as John Mulaney, Dave Chapelle, and The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon. It will also star actors Colin Quinn, Tom Segura, Bill Burr, Dave Attell, Ronny Chieng, actress Wanda Sykes, and Amy Schumer. Schumer posted the lineup on Instagram and wrote, “@thegarden Sept 12th good lineup no?”

The comedians will perform for a fully vaccinated audience, agreeing with the mandate from New York Mayor Bill de Blasio that requires participants at most indoor events to have the COVID-19 vaccine.

Fans on Twitter expressed their excitement to see their favorite comedians.
