St. Vincent Joins Bleachers on the Rooftop of Electric Lady Studios
Bleachers, the indie-pop band fronted by Jack Antonoff, has reunited on the rooftop of Electric Lady Studios to deliver the performance of two songs off their latest album, Take The Sadness Out of Saturday Night. Antonoff enlisted the help of a special guest to provide stunning background vocals: St. Vincent.
Annie Clark, who performs under the stage name St. Vincent, joined her fellow collaborator and friend Antonoff of Bleachers for the song, “What’d I Do With All This Faith?” The song appears last on the 10-track record that was released on July 30. The “Daddy’s Home” singer worked with Bleachers on their third studio album, having served as a co-producer as well as a background vocalist for the VMA-nominated single, “Stop Making This Hurt.”

Antonoff is notorious for inviting musicians up to New York’s iconic Electric Lady Studios, having spent so much of his time creating some of the best records ever made. Bleachers created a mini-series titled “Bleachers on the Roof,” where the band has taken up stars such as Bruce Springsteen and Lorde. Springsteen appears on their latest album; their collaboration is titled “chinatown.” Lorde worked with Antonoff on her critically acclaimed record, Melodrama, in 2017 and performed “Solar Power,” a single off her upcoming record of the same title just a few weeks ago.
St. Vincent joins Bleachers among a band of talented musicians that provide a good minute of instrumentals before Antonoff begins the song. The saxophone swells throughout, making the performance stand out that much more. Everyone on the rooftop stands around a simple yet perfect design of vines adorned with bright lights.
St. Vincent and Jack Antonoff of Bleachers delivered a memorable performance of “What’d I Do With All This Faith?” Both musicians are currently embarking on tours in support of their albums, and are taking the necessary steps to ensure a safe show. This means that fans will need to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test. Tickets to Bleachers’ tour can be found here.
