So fucking excited. How Young One came from a cover project he came up while in Europe, and brought it to Seoul to collab with other artists, to releasing solo demos; and now it’s an official mini album. Young K deserves this so much and I can’t wait to support this 🙏🏼

this solo album must really be precious – something like a gift before he enlists, so that we remember DAY6. so that we remember him 😭 pic.twitter.com/BiaCS2dYur
Solo albums are usually a collection of self-composed songs by the singer. This is not expected to be a problem for Young K, as he is a complete natural when it comes to writing music. Creating a handful of tracks for Day6 albums and releasing impressive singles throughout the years, the performer has definitely proven himself as a true artist.
Young K is one of five members in a Korean pop-rock boy band Day6. Day6 debuted together in 2015 with EP The Day, peaking at No. 2 on the Billboard World Album Chart. Recently, the group dropped a fresh album, The Book of Us: Negentropy – Chaos Swallowed Up in Love, with the title track “You Make Me” and a complimentary music video.
The four-minute clip begins with the members watching a lovely couple dance on a sun-kissed beach. Within a few seconds, that relaxing scene flashes over to the man covering up a bloodied wound before meeting his lover. Eventually, it appears the duo allows for vulnerability as the secret injury is revealed. Towards the end of the video, the two are seen walking intimately towards the ocean together.
“You Make Me” is an insightful masterpiece that every music lover will fall in love with. Anyways, until more is heard about Young K’s upcoming debut album, be sure to check out the star’s Instagram filled with charming selfies and gorgeous musical covers here.
