‘Blonde’: Celebrating 5 Years of Frank Ocean’s Masterpiece
Christopher Edwin Breaux, who performs under the stage name Frank Ocean, released his highly-acclaimed second studio album, Blonde, five years ago. Blonde is considered to be one of the best albums of the 2010s, and it still leaves fans in awe half a decade later.
On August 20, 2016, fans were gearing up to listen to Frank Ocean’s 17-track masterpiece. Blonde features vocals from André 3000 and Beyoncé, both musicians whose work speaks for itself. His record debuted at number 1 on the US Billboard 200, and the RIAA certified the album platinum.
