Despite the show being canceled after its first three seasons, there may be good news ahead for Manifest fans hoping for season four. Over the summer, the NBC sci-fi series has seen viewership skyrocket on Netflix, prompting discussions of possible new episodes.

According to Deadline, Manifest had been available on Netflix for about a week before NBC canceled it. However, after the series saw new streaming success, Netflix and NBC began discussing the possibility of a fourth season. Manifest was Netflix’s most-watched TV show in the United States for almost a month. Although it is no longer number one in the U.S., its popularity continues, and it currently holds the number five spot on the platform.

The series follows the passengers of Montego Air Flight 828, which mysteriously landed in New York City over five years after it left Jamaica. Some show fans think that more news may arrive on August 28, or “828 Day”.

Twitter has played a part in the show’s newfound success. The hashtag #SaveManifest is being used by fans hoping for a fourth season.
