The Thrilling Teaser for ‘Spencer’ Made Its Debut

The teaser trailer for ‘Spencer’ was released on August 26, starring Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana. 

The teaser is 1 minute and 10 seconds. Although it doesn’t give much detail about the plot of the film, it showcases scenes of Diana’s struggles as well as the setting of her Estate. 

The film was written by British screenwriter Steven Knight and directed by Pablo Larrain. It takes place during Christmas of 1991, ten years after Diana’s marriage to Prince Charles with rumors flooding the scene about the infidelity regarding Prince Charles and a future divorce between the two. As a result of the allegations, it then trickles into the Royal Family while at the Queen’s Sandringham Estate for the holidays.  

Award-winning actress Kristen Stewart stars as Princess Diana. She is known for different layers of diversity and strength as an actress and the realness of emotions in the characters she portrays. Stewart has starred in over 30 films, and at the age of just 31, has won 66 of the 104 total nominations she has received.

American film critic and entertainment reporter Scott Menzel is thrilled about the film. Menzel stated on Twitter, “Kristen Stweart will be getting an Oscar nomination for her performance as Diana. I’m feeling very confident that this is going to be #KritsenStewart’s big moment.”

Also featured in the film is Jack Farthing as Prince Charles, along with Timothy Spall, Sean Harris, and Sally Hawkins. 

The film is being released by NEON and will appear in theaters on November 5, 2021. Check out the thrilling teaser trailer below.
