Fashion Fair Has Officially Been Reborn and Will Exclusively Be Available At Sephora
Iconic cosmetics brand, Fashion Fair has made a fashionably late comeback and will soon be available at select Sephora stores near you. The Black and Brown skin-focused makeup line is currently relaunching with new formulas and advanced old classics.
Fenty Beauty has seemingly paved a brighter way for inclusive makeup; since the 56-year-old cosmetic line once worn by legends such as Aretha Franklin, has finally made its long-awaited return.
The iconic Fashion Fair brand has partnered with the major beauty retailer with an updated line including SkinFlex Stick foundation, Fabulous Priming Serum, the Iconic Lipstick, Set it Loose Powder, and Iconic Pressed Powder. In addition, the foundations consist of 16 different shades for melanated skin.
Fashion Fair Co-owner, Desiree Rogers told Harper’s Bazaar:
“The brand is inspired by its history, while at the same time, we’ve created a collection that has been designed with the needs of today’s consumers in mind. We’re featuring cleaner products and natural additives like vitamin C, vitamin E, turmeric, bamboo powder, and green tea extract all created for darker skin tones. Each of the foundations and powders in the Fashion Fair line are vegan.”
In addition to cleaner, skin-friendly vegan products, the legendary cosmetic line’s intention is to help treat common skin concerns in women of color such as hyperpigmentation. The company will continue to strive in continuing their mission of empowering people of color.
They will also be giving back to the community with a new scholarship and beauty business internship for select Spelman College students.
