Naomi Osaka Shows Young Fan Act of Kindness With New Heartfelt Gift
On August 30, Naomi Osaka gave a young fan a gift after the US Open following her first-round victory.
Osaka became a pro at just 19 years old in 2013, and in 2016 she was selected as “Newcomer of the Year ” by the Women’s Tennis Association. She was the world’s first-ranked player in women’s tennis, following her wins at the 2018 U.S. Open and the 2019 Australian Open. Additionally, she partnered with Olympic Tennis player Serena Williams at the French Open in 1999.
As talented as Osaka is on the court, she is just as nice off the court. After her first round of victory, she gave a young fan her Olympic trading pin.
ESPN tweeted the act of kindness Osaka showed the young fan.

Osaka is well known for the effort she puts into helping people of color play on the court. She additionally launched a skincare line called Kinlo’. She created this to help people of color get educated about their skin; she began by educating herself about people’s misconceptions about sun and skin protection.
As Osaka continues to grow in her athletic journey, fans hope she will continue to put smiles on all of their faces.
