Ciara and Russell Wilson Announce New ‘R&C’ Fragrance
Power couple Ciara and Russell Wilson have announced their new fragrance duo, ‘R&C.’ The fragrance collection is currently available at Nordstrom.
The R&C fragrance duo was bound to become one, but prior to their latest branded collaboration, Ciara and Russell had their own separate scents: “C” by Ciara and “R” by Russell Wilson. The “Level Up” singer’s fragrance is alluring, containing traces of red berries, freesia, pink peppercorn, musk, sandalwood, and vanilla. Seattle Seahawks quarterback Wilson’s fragrance consists of a bergamot and black tea blend with ambroxan paired with lavender, pear, waterlily, musk, and vetiver.
The R&C fragrances have intertwined and become one, just like the union that is their marriage. In an Instagram post, Ciara writes that R&C “embodies our love” and symbolizes togetherness. As the two scents blended together are magnetic, their love for each other is just as strong. The couple is simply better together.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilson both took to their social media accounts to share the stunning black and white photo where they effortlessly model the intertwining fragrances. The packaging of the R&C fragrance is literally magnetic, as the R&C cylindrical bottles are intertwined with one another.
The duo is passionate about smelling nice and feeling refreshed. The couple spoke to Allure, where they revealed certain family members inspiring their love of fragrances. Ciara cites her grandmother, who boasted a whole collection of perfumes in her home. Wilson cites his late father, recalling the story in a nostalgic way. He tells Allure, “He used to always have this fake razor, and he used to always put shaving cream on my face so when he would shave, I would ‘shave.'” After shaving, his father would always dab cologne onto his wrists then spray it on his chest. This is a ritual Wilson still performs to this day.
The “R&C” fragrance duo celebrates love and togetherness. Be sure to head to the R&C website to get your hands on this sweet-smelling fragrance.
