Ciara attended this year’s Met Gala representing the Seattle Seahawks. Her husband, Russell Wilson, is the quarterback of the American football team.

Ciara dressed up as her husband for the Met Gala theme: In America: A Lexicon of Fashion. The “Level Up” singer knows that it truly does not get more American than football; therefore, what better way to bring the sport to the most iconic fashion show there is? Ciara rocked her husband’s jersey number 3, wearing a sequined, neon-green, long-sleeved Peter Dundas dress. She completed the look holding a crystallized football clutch.

Ciara spoke to Keke Palmer about her iconic look. The singer revealed that she was also wearing the ultimate accessory: Wilson’s Super Bowl XLVIII ring. Ciara and Dundas have collaborated on three Met Gala’s together, so lucky number three had to be extra special. The singer revealed to Palmer that Dundas’ inspiration behind her look had been inspired by the iconic Geoffrey Beene’s football jersey dresses from the late 1960s.

Ciara has always given stunning fashion looks, and she revealed to Palmer on the red carpet that fashion is a huge part of how she chooses to express herself. Individuality and self-expression are incredibly important.

Fans have taken to social media to marvel at Ciara bringing her husband’s football jersey to fashion heights.

Ciara continues to be a powerful woman in the industry. She is a fashionable and confident singer and mother. This Met Gala outfit has her leveling up. Be sure to follow Ciara on Instagram for the latest on fashion, motherhood, and being the Seattle Seahawks’ biggest cheerleader.
