New York visionary Telfar Clemens unveiled his newest creation at an unexpected press conference show this past weekend during NYFW. Just like the already beloved Shopping Bag, the Telfar duffle is sure to make its way into the hearts, and closets, of A-List celebrities, club kids, and everyone in between.

Like its predecessor, the duffle will come in various sizes and colors and promises to be just as coveted. Hopeful fans are already taking to social media to voice excitement for the upcoming release and their eagerness to get their hands on the new merchandise.

It only makes sense that another silhouette would be soon to follow after Telfar’s resounding first successes. The duffle style is just as utilitarian as the Shopping Bag but has a slightly more androgynous feel and features the iconic Telfar logo on the sides of the bag rather than the front.

Telfar first launched into popular orbit back in 2014 when the OG Shopping Bag started to catch the eye of trendy New Yorkers. Nicknamed "the Bushwick Birkin," due to its outstanding favoritism with hip Brooklynites, there were a few factors that made Telfar's design such a hot commodity. Vegan leather, rich, bright colors, and a reasonably low price point are all great perks of the bag, but the true allure comes from the sense of community and universality surrounding the brand; something that they have taken special care to cultivate, saying ”It’s not for you. It’s for everyone.”

Today, it’s nearly impossible to snag a Telfar bag due to the resell market and rampant bot use. But, as he always does, Clemens has put his innovative genius to work and come up with a fabulous solution. Telfar TV: a 24-hour public access network that will become a home for fostering the Telfar community through fan-made art and ideas. It will also become the only place to purchase from the brand, what they’re calling a “drip, not a drop.”

Telfar TV can be accessed via their website and for streaming on both Apple TV and Roku. There is no official release date yet for the Telfar duffle bag.
