ITZY, the K-pop quintet behind hit singles “WANNABE” and “달라달라 (DALLA DALLA)” released the first official trailer for CRAZY IN LOVE on September 5. The clip, full of bright colors and tropical bass noises, shows off the girls having fun with different hobbies and has already received over 2 million views on YouTube. The group’s title track “Loco” is set to release with their very first full-length album on Friday, September 24 at 12 AM EST.

Getting ready for their return with their first full album, the first two members to drop individual CRAZY IN LOVE concept pictures are Lia and Yeji. The images show off a powerful look, fit with unconventional hair and flashy accessories, perfectly in line with the group’s bold image.

ITZY has now released the teaser photos for the remaining members, Ryujin, Yuna, and Chaeryeong, as well.

Apart from the teaser images, the group has also released an exciting new concept trailer. Fans have been speculating that the teaser references other pop culture figures while exploring the many different types of love.

Yuna appears to be channeling Cruella de Vil, donning black and pink fur while strutting around a house with three large dalmatians. We also see Lia underlining words like ‘love’ in a book that fans have recognized as Sophie Kinsella’s “Love Your Life,” a novel in which the female protagonist struggles with online dating and travels to Italy in search of love.

Along with the references, some fans believe that the members are meant to symbolize various forms of love – Yeji struggling in the kitchen being out of control, Lia being blinded by love, Ryujin being addicted to love, Chaeryeong being loco for herself, and Yuna representing obsession.

ITZY has been supplying fans with a lot of content surrounding this comeback, complete with a teaser schedule and a tracklist for the album. The teaser poster for “Loco” reveals that the song will be in collaboration with producer duo Galactika, known for their heavy synth instrumentals and catchy pop melodies.

The ladies also hosted a 45-minute Spoiler LIVE online event where they offered a sneak peek into their upcoming promotions. Through the LIVE it was revealed that not one, but two music videos will be released over the course of this comeback. The first will be for “Loco” and the other will be for “Swipe,” another track off the album.

ITZY’s CRAZY IN LOVE follows their fourth EP Guess Who, which dropped in April of this year and was certified Platinum by the Korea Music Content Association with a month of its release. The lead track “In the morning” also became a Billboard Top 3 hit. With all of their success, it’s safe to say that the anticipation for their first full-length album is at an all-time high.
