Beyoncé wrote in the letter, “I’m grateful to everyone involved, especially the fans, for the time and level of detail it took to organize such beautiful tributes.” She continued, “I admire and respect all of you and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
I appreciate how Beyoncé moves like a celeb in the 90s. Y’all gon get these pre approved curated photo dumps once a month and every now and then when the spirit moves her, she publishes a handwritten letter to fans. Then she goes about her quiet business. A legend. https://t.co/zm0kGU4zhY

When Beyoncé first made headlines, she was just 15 years old and part of the pop trio Destiny’s Child. Reflecting on her birthday, she recalls the joy of “growing up with” her fans. She explores how this last year taught her to “live in the moment” and to “stop and smell the roses” when times are good.
“I thought I knew that at 21 or 30… but I didn’t,” Beyoncé shared with complete honesty. “The more mature I become, the more I understand and the deeper my joy grows.”
What a powerful line in Beyoncé’s letter — “I’ve made it to the other side of my sacrifice.” Remember haters calling her overexposed, because she WORKED? Now, her impact on Music, Performance, Fashion & Visuals is everywhere you look 24 years later. And she’s not even done! 👑

Beyoncé is known for many things. Her music career has spanned three decades, she is a master fashionista, and a devoted wife and mother. Forbes also placed her on the 2021 Self-Made Women list with a net worth of $440 million. However, in her letter, the singer made it known that she’s not stopping there.
“Whoever tried to condition women to feel that we are supposed to feel old or unhappy when we turn 40 got it all the way F’d up,” she wrote. “This has absolutely been the best I’ve felt in my life.”
