Another notable and more recent celebrity sighting of Gladys Tamez hats was on the season 21 premiere of NBC’s hit singing competition show, The Voice. Gladys Tamez was born in Texas and primarily grew up in Mexico. She studied art in Monterrey, Mexico, and design in Florence, Italy.
