The Upcoming ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ Introduces New Cast
The cast for the upcoming superhero sequel Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is officially out of the water. The second installment has made a few new additions to the cast with some fresh new faces and a mysterious new character.
Buckle up, DC Comics fans! Jason Momoa is back as Aquaman with an appealing new cast to deliver larger waves of action-packed adventure.
The new cast members that will be joining Momoa include Indya Moore (Pose), Jani Zhao (The Sugar Captains), and Vincent Reagan (300). Zhao will be playing a mysterious character named Stingray as her first major Hollywood role.
Meanwhile, Moore is set to play the role of DC’s classic character name Karshon who originally appeared as a shark villain in the Green Lantern back in 1963. Karshon was initially a normal shark until he was hit with radiation which caused increased intelligence and telepathic powers.

In addition, Regan will play the ancient ruler of Atlantis named Atlan who was first introduced in the original film through flashback scenes. Fans can also expect to see returning faces such as Patrick Wilson (Orm), Amber Heard (Mera), Yahya Abdul-Mateen ll, and Dolph Lundgren (Nereus).

Directed by Conjuring Universe creator James Wan and written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, the exact plot details have yet to be revealed. However, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will be premiering on Thursday, December 16, 2022.
