Netflix Hit Series ‘On My Block’ May Be Sticking Around a While Longer
Fans may not have to say goodbye to Netflix hit coming-of-series On My Block after all. Although the fourth and final season is already streaming, it appears Netflix has a surprise twist in store.
Sadly, fans would still have to say goodbye to their favorite gang Monse, Ruby, Cesar, and Jamal. However, a sequel series with a new cast in Freeridge is underway.

During the show’s final moments, a new crew is seen looking into a backyard subliminally giving off a message that an On My Block universe may have officially begun. According to Cosmopolitan, the sequel series will be taking a more female-led approach with a gang of four who reside in Freeridge.

In addition, the series was initially released in March 2018 and successfully snagged the Teen Choice Awards for Choice Breakout TV Show at the 2018 Teen Choice Awards.
